The Seiser Alm cable car is the most environmentally friendly way to get to Seiser Alm. The valley station of the cable car is located in Seis am Schlern. Guests from Kastelruth and Völs am Schlern can easily reach the cable car with shuttle buses or by car. The ascent to Seiser Alm by car is blocked during the season from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Shops, rentals, catering establishments, and ticket offices are located at the valley and mountain stations. During peak season, it is recommended to factor in long wait times for tickets. The cable car ride from Seis to Seiser Alm takes approximately 15 minutes.

The Seiser Alm cable car is open in summer 2024 from May 18, 2024 to November 3, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. During the period from June 16, 2024, to September 8, 2024, the Seiser Alm cable car is even open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
